The Trellis Center.

At the Trellis Center our goal is to raise the quality of life of adults with autism; while at the same time providing order and structure to their day. Through working in the gardens, caring for animals, practicing daily living skills and building interpersonal skills, participants gain capability and confidence.

Individuals with autism require a structured recreation and leisure schedule. Free time with no activity with which to keep busy is a difficult concept for a person with autism. The Trellis Center provides a structured program to individuals with autism and other disabilities (18 and over). Services include vocational skill building, community outreach and education, recreational programs and other socially stimulating activities with the level of ability and interests of the participant in mind.
